I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am also a Research Fellow with the Archbridge Institute. I completed my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University, where I was a Research Assistant at the Free Market Institute. Before starting my doctoral program, I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans.
I am originally from Cut Off, Louisiana—a small town southeast of New Orleans. I now live in Lafayette, Louisiana. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports (Who Dat!) and traveling.
