Economic Development, Applied Microeconomics, Political Economy
Starting this Fall, I will be an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I recently completed my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University, where I was a Research Assistant at the Free Market Institute. I am also a Research Fellow with the Archbridge Institute. Before starting my doctoral program, I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a B.S. in economics and minors in accounting and math.
I am originally from Cut Off, Louisiana—a small town southeast of New Orleans. I now live in Lubbock, Texas. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports (Who Dat!), playing tennis, and traveling.
